Advisory Committee Meeting The BPAC’s mission is to be proactive in the promotion, development, and maintenance of bicycle and pedestrian facilities in Fayette and Jessamine counties. Cycling
through the Centuries Spend a leisurely Saturday exploring Lexington's long, colorful and well-documented history by bicycle on this 11 mile long route through historic neighborhoods. The self-guided tour is produced by the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation. Brochures can be picked up during busines hours at the BG Trust Office (253 Market St) or the Lexington Convention Visitors Bureau (301 East Vine Street). Velo
Swap Do you have extra bikes, gear, or equipment that you would like to trade or sell? Bring your goods and come to this bike swap to see what you can get for them. The Velo Swap is open to anyone who would like to participate. There is no registration fee, so come early to get a good spot. For more information contact Bryant Reams.
Progressive
Dinner Join fellow cyclists on a pedal-powered tour of Lexington restaurants. The event will begin with a tour of the KY Ale Brewery and an appetizer featuring their delicious beer cheese. The first 24 registered participants will then head to Stella’s for dinner and Natasha’s for dessert and coffee. The second group will have a Mexican dinner at Cielito Lindo and dessert at 3rd Street Stuff and Coffee. Pre-registration is required. YMCA
Bike “MishMash” Gather your family, bicycles, and gear up for the YMCA Bike MishMash. Families encouraged to pack up their bikes and come out for an evening of fun activities including obstacle course, bike decorating booth, bike education, a bicycle safety check, proper helmet fitting and bike sizing. Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided. Free and open to the community. All participants must wear a helmet and children must be accompanied by an adult. KyMBA
Informational Kentucky Mountain Bike Association (KyMBA) is organizing a group of mountain bike enthusiasts to represent central Kentucky. KyMBA’s purpose is to promote mountain bike advocacy, identify opportunities for growth, unite mountain bike enthusiasts, and develop and maintain trails. We are looking for a broad spectrum of mountain bikers to join this group. If you are interested in learning more or getting involved we welcome you to attend this informational meeting.

Bicycle Task Force Mayor Newberry recently appointed this citizen-based committee as a direct outcome of the Lexington Bike Summit.
